Welcome to 6th grade science! Ever wondered what effect science ever had in your life? Well, this year, you're going to find out. In this class we'll cover the small discoveries that science has made and how it has helped or hindered the general population. There is no text required for this class. We'll cover topics in physics mechanics, simple chemistry, genetic engineering in people and food, space technology and it's impact on the medical community, simple discoveries in medicine. This is a study in the history of science and seemingly abstract scientific discoveries and how these have lead to practical inventions or applications in everyday life. |
